The Theatre India Company offers a captivating blend of auditory and visual experiences that redefine traditional performances. We intricately combine soul-stirring ghazals, fervent qawwalis, spiritual Sufi music, and eloquent poetry in Marathi, Hindi, and Urdu. Our unique approach goes beyond the ordinary by integrating theatrical experiments, where songs are thoughtfully mashed up with narratives, and original poetry takes center stage. These enthralling shows are presented monthly, drawing a devoted and expanding audience.

The Theatre India Company is a team of language lovers and theatre enthusiasts. We currently work in Hindi, Marathi, Urdu, Punjabi, and English, and we are always looking to expand our linguistic canvas to include even more languages. Our motivation comes from continuously experimenting in theatre and challenging conventional methods.
Our Story
Was it music or was it our love for the written and spoken word? Was it acting or a deep-rooted affection for theatre?
None of us can truly tell you for sure!! But a confluence of all of these in the minds and hearts of four people, Dushyant Bhatia, Alap Solapurkar, Vaidehi Sancheti and Kshitij Kulkarni was the starting point of this adventurous, enriching and deeply fulfilling movement called Theatre India Company!
It started as Chand Phir Nikla presented by Jashn E Uns, a celebration of love.
Then came our flagship project - that Indian Broadway-style presentation Noor Manzil and since then, we have never looked back.
A 40-strong team that's growing larger and getting better with each production and event. From an uncertain, humble start, today we have ten active productions and many tailor made events in 5 languages!!

We aim to fuse the rich, diverse heritage of Indian performing arts (music, dance, drama) with modern, high-production values and non-conventional stagecraft.
